The Lumia 620 is the latest Windows Phone 8-based handset to come from Nokia, and so far, the device is looking to take the Windows Phone market by storm; it even manages to stand toe-to-toe with the Lumia 920.
The boys over at MyNokiaBlog have gotten their hands on both devices, so what did they do? They proceeded to compare them to see which one comes out on top. From the findings, it seems no one was expecting a low-end Windows Phone 8 handset to give a high-end device a run for its money.
During the comparison, it was clear that despite the Lumia 620 having half the RAM and processing power compared to the Lumia 920, it manages to perform relatively well. In some cases, the 620 tends to perform better than the Lumia 920; this could be because the device has a better GPU, the same that is found in the Lumia 920T in China.
This is an impressive achievement by Nokia. Matching the Lumia 920 is not the only thing the Lumia 620 is capable of; recently a report came out suggesting the Lumia 620 browses the Web faster than the mighty Samsung Galaxy S3.
It would be interesting to see how the Lumia 620 holds up against new Android devices, and even those from BlackBerry 10.
