Before people could digest everything related to the latest smartphone released by Samsung, rumors have started surrounding the Korean company's next smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the successor to the Galaxy Note 2, has been the subject of rumors for some time but now the specifications of the smartphone are being discussed.
A Chinese technology website, My Drivers, has posted a picture of a "big" smartphone that the website claims is the Galaxy Note 3.
According to the report, the successor of the Galaxy Note 2 will come with a 5.99-inch screen with full HD 1920x1080 resolution display. The rumored specs make the Galaxy Note 3 a huge smartphone in terms of everything.
The device will be powered by the most powerful processor available for mobile devices and the storage also grows with the support of a microSD slot. The Galaxy Note 3 will be powered by an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor with a quad-core A15 CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz and quad-core A7 CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz.
The phone's functions will be supported by a hefty 3 GB of RAM and users will be able to store a lot in the device, as it is said to have 32 GB of internal memory with a microSD slot support.
Although the capacity of the microSD slot is not mentioned in the report, we assume that it will support a microSD card up to 64 GB, like other Galaxy series devices.
When it comes to the operating system (OS) of the phone, many will guess that the Galaxy Note 3 might come with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie or Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but the Chinese publisher doesn't think so. According to the report, the Galaxy Note 3 will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, but needless to say, it will later be upgraded to higher versions of Android.
As everything about the specs given in the report comes from unconfirmed and unreliable sources, we will have to take all this information with a grain of salt. However, the picture posted on the website looks very real and the possibility of Photoshop tricks look highly negligible.
In the picture, both the devices are shown and the reflection of the person taking the picture of both the phones can also be seen in the screens of the smartphones.
