One of the next big games from game developer BioWare is Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. Not much is known of the title; however, that could all change come June when E3 2013 begins to take shape.
According to Mike Laidlaw, creative director of Dragon Age, "I was unclear! Yes, there will be some DAIII at E3. Not just "stuff." DAIII stuff." The statement was made on his Twitter account, which has drawn many fans replying in droves to Laidlaw, hoping to get more information out of him.
So, what do we know of Dragon Age 3 at the moment? Just a few concept images that were released back in 2012 and rumors claiming players will be taken to Orlais with a new protagonist to try and solve the conflict between Mages and Templars. Rumors also claim Hawke will make a return; whether or not he'll be a playable character is another story altogether.
The History
Way back in 2009, BioWare released Dragon Age: Origins, a game that became one of the most fun and popular role-playing games. What made this game stand out was the plot and the characters that players became attached to over the course of the game. It was a great experience, one that fans expected to be a part of the second game: but that wasn't the case.
In 2011, BioWare launched Dragon Age 2 to mixed reviews. The game brought forward quite a few changes that were not seen as acceptable by fans. For example, that strong RPG feeling was gone, the game felt like a third person action game with a few RPG elements dropped in here and there. Furthermore, almost all the dungeons had the same design.
The next game in the series is Dragon Age 3. Hopefully BioWare tends to all the problems faced in the previous title, for Dragon Age 3 Can Be A Great Game If It Stays Clear Of Dragon Age 2 Mistakes.
