The world of gaming is filled with First Person Shooters (FPS) that no one seems to be able to get enough of. One of the most well known shooter franchise is Crysis, a game that takes place in the future where you play as a guy in a nano suit that allows him to do extraordinary things. And, if you're a Crysis fan, you're in luck - on Wednesday, on Origin, Electronic Art's own video game store, Crysis 3 was leaked for a short while before being quickly pulled down by the company.
The banner advertisement was first spotted by the boys over at NeoGaf. Luckily they took a screenshot before EA took it down, allowing us to see what the company is planning for the next release in the Crysis universe. From the screenshot, the first thing you will probably notice is the bow and arrow, which we are guessing will be a new addition to the game and possibly Kinect powered.
Origin featured the game for both Xbox 360 and PC. So no idea if it will make it to the PS3. The price was set at $49.99. However, expect that to change whenever the game launches, which is expected to be in sometime in late 2012.
When contacted about the leaked info, EA had this to say: "The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16."
April 16 is next week, Monday. Keep an eye out here on the Mobile & Apps for more information about the game as it arrives. And, in case, you can't wait that long - here's a juicy piece of news. Computerandvideogames.com has reported that a heavily destroyed NYC which has become "almost a jungle" will serve as the backdrop of Crysis 3. If that's true, that would be a disappointment because gamers had enough of the Big Apple in Crysis 2.
