Android and iOS are the two most preferred smartphone OS in the market. The only marketed iOS brand is Apple and hence the expectations are high to compete with Android smartphones manufacturers. We have brought you two option namely iPhone 7 Plus  and the latest and familiar brand Huawei Mate 9. Let's compare the duo.

Starting with the design and display, Huawei Mate 9 features a huge 5.9" display respectively. iPhone 7 Plus has the same screen resolution but a smaller 5.5'' display.

On the other hand, Mate 9 have IPS LCD display and iPhone 7 Plus has LED-backlit IPS LCD display with oleophobic coating.

In terms of memory, Mate 9 leads with 64 GB internal storage with 4 GB RAM.  However, iPhone 7 Plus lags with 3 GB RAM and 31/128/256 GB internal storage. Only Mate 9 have expandable storage up to 256GB.

In terms of battery, theoretically Huawei Mate 9 has a bigger battery with 4000mAH than iPhone 7 Plus's 2900mAH battery.

The Huawei brand leads the photography round with stunning dual 20MP + 12MP (2160p) camera. Contrastingly, iPhone 7 Plus have 12 MP camera. Mate 9 come with rear dual-LED dual tone Flash while iPhone 7 Plus has quad-LED dual tone FLASH. In selfie clicks, iPhone 7 Plus shines with 7MP lens and Mate 9 features 8 MP.

Additionally, both have got the fingerprint sensors on them.

Huawei Mate 9 runs on the latest Android Nougat while Apple phone comes with iOS 10.0.1.

Summing up, Huawei Mate 9 is a better upgrade within the premium phone segment. However, iPhone 7 Plus is also the latest offering from Apple, and Android users can switch to Apple if they want a fresh OS to use.
