Telltale Game 'Walking Dead: A New Frontier': What You Need To Know Before Its Release Date

Despite being delayed with its supposedly November release, fans can finally continue the saga in the 3rd season of "The Walking Dead" series by Telltale games.

As reported by IGN. "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" is now scheduled to be released on a number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One this coming December 20.

The initial release will include the first episode, which can be purchased digitally for $4.99 for the all the platforms as well as the mobile ones like iOS and Android. There's also a Season Pass available, which fans and gamers can purchase for $24.99 and this will include all the episodes to be included in the game.

For those who prefer a physical copy of the game, they can get it next year, February 7, 2017. Telltale announced that they will be releasing a Season Pass disc as well, which will contain the first episode as well as access to episodes 2 - 5 after they are released.

Those who would like to secure a copy can now make pre-orders on Amazon though the platforms available are only for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the moment for the price of $24.99.

"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" will feature the same protagonist named "Clementine" a few years after the events on the prior season. A new character named "Javier" will also be introduced in the game, though the only thing we know about him right now is that he is a young man determined to find the family taken from him.

The game made its first appearance on the recent E3 event and then made some followups on Comic-Con and had its official title revealed on PAX. Fans can get some extended gameplay experience in the upcoming The Game Awards, which is due next week.
