Square Enix Confirms Two Of The Popular 'Final Fantasy VII' Character's Action Figures Coming This April 2017

"Final Fantasy VII" has been released in 1997 through the first and original PlayStation which makes it 20 years old right now making fans a little sentimental in remembering their first time playing the role-playing video game. In line with the celebration of its 20th year anniversary, Square Enix is giving fans an exciting treat.

IGN reported that the publisher will be releasing action figures featuring two of most loved and popular characters of the 20-year old game which will be made by their own toy line, Play Arts Kai. One of the characters that will be having his very own action figure is Cloud Strife, the main protagonist of the series.

The Cloud Strife action figure will stand 11 inches tall which comes with his Buster Swords. The weapon can stand with a variety of hands and he can change his battle stance in several ways, reports WWG.

The second "Final Fantasy VII" character is Barret Wallace, the supporting character of the game who is known as the leader of the eco-terrorist organization AVALANCHE.

Barret Wallace's action figure will stand 11.6 inches tall and it feature is his awesome removable sunglasses together with his very own stand. He will aslo come with an extra hand. Both of the character's action figures will be released on April 2017 in Japan and will cost around 15,984 yen, which is about $139 USD.

There are still no details on whether the "Final Fantasy VII" action figures will also be released in other parts of the world but Play Arts Kai store has released similar items elsewhere. The remake of the said game was officially confirmed at a press conference of Sony's E3 2015 and will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
