LG G6 To Focus More On Usage And Aesthetics Features To Recover From 2016 Sales Drop
JulianneLast year, LG didn't cut as a force to be reckon with as the company fails miserably in sales and product placing with the LG G5 and the LG V20. However, this next will be different as the Korean company focuses on usability and aesthetics for the upcoming LG G6.
Know Your Mobile reports every news and speculation surrounding the said device and there are chosen ones that will set the bar up high for the flagship. It further stated that LG plans not to put a modular design and will be price-wise with the variant as the Korean company wants to sell the smartphone at around the $500-$600 range.
In addition, LG will reportedly adopt the use of water-resistant adhesives to the upcoming handheld's display that are similar to what is used on the iPhone 7. There are also reports that LG will feature a metallic unibody placed on the rear of the smartphone.
Meanwhile, there are no official reports stating LG G6's features and specs. But other news outlets online have been persistent in making headlights themselves. Notable rumors spreading online are the typical Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 CPU, 4GB of RAM and dual-lens camera system just like the G5.
In other news, Phone Arena noted that LG is preparing to submit the company's first quarterly operating loss in six years with Q4 2016, which LG drop to a worth of $29.36 million due to seasonal weakening of appliance and mobile sales. Heightened promotional expenses have also contributed to the situation.
2016 is not quite of a great year for the Korean company's mobile business. The premium product known as LG G5 sold below expectations even with high commercial spending.
However, on the issue regarding LG G6 release date, LG did officially stated that the device will be released very soon. It is highly likely that the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain will be the perfect venue to launch the said flagship.
