Shena GolosinoNest home monitoring products are expanding their sales in Europe! Nest, a smart home brand has just announced that its home monitoring products will be officially available for retail in four countries in Europe namely Spain, Italy, Germany and Austria. The products will be available to buy starting February 15.
The Nest 3.0 learning thermostat will be sold for 249 euros, Protect smoke alarm will be available to buy for 119 euros and the Nest's indoor and outdoor cameras will cost 199 euros. The company also offers the monthly Nest Aware service for the indoor and outdoor cameras, which record and play back clips of activity around the home, not just tap into a live stream. Nest says that will cost €10 per month or €100 a year. Nest products can also be ordered online now on Amazon, local retailers, and select energy suppliers, as reported from The Verge.
According to Mac Rumors, the company's expansion would be very helpful in boosting their sales. Nest products are already being used in 190 countries from around the world. However, Nest products are already known in some countries in Europe such as Belgium, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, and United Kingdom and outside of United States and Canada.
For now, the company is already partnering with Baxi in Spain, Wind Tre and Engie in Italy, and Generali Group in Germany to attract more customers.
According to the company, "Now that we're in four more countries, twice as many European homes have the chance to become Nest homes. We also plan to make our products available through even more energy, insurance and telco partners, as well as enlist the help of thousands of Nest Pro installers. So getting and installing Nest products, and connecting them to Works with Nest products, will be simple."
If the demands of the product will continue to boom, Nest would expand its sales to other countries. Stay tuned for more updates.
