The latest APK released by Niantic for "Pokemon Go" this January has a lot of information unknown to most players. Here are the details of the latest APK that every "Pokemon Go" player deserves to know. This comprises of New Moves, Evolution Items and More Avatar Customizations, among others.

Niantic released "Pokemon Go" January APK without much in the way of communication, except that it enumerates that the latest APK updated Apple Watch to display Eggs obtained from PokeStops. It also changed distance tracking to better account for GPS drift and minor text fixes, says Slash Gear.

New Moves

Codes and assets for 38 new moves have been added to the "Pokemon Go" by the latest APK. Apart from Ditto's TRANSFORM move, this is the first time new moves have been added to the client. It has two categories namely New Quick Moves and New Charge Moves.

The latest Quick moves for "Pokemon Go" include Counter, Powder Snow, Charge Beam, Volt Switch, Dragon Tail, Infestation, and Struggle Bug. In addition, Astonish, Iron Tail, Fire Spin, Bullet Seed, Extrasensory, Air Slash, Hex, and Snarl are included in the latest Quick moves for "Pokemon Go."

New "Pokemon Go" Charge Moves, on the other hand, include Close Combat, Dynamic Punch, Focus Blast, Aurora Beam, Wild Charge, and Zap Cannon. Avalanche, Brave Bird, Sky Attack, Sand Tomb, and Rock Blast were also added to the latest set of Charge Moves. Additional "Pokemon Go" Charge Moves also include Silver Wind, Night Shade, Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam, and Overheat. Grass Knot, Energy Ball, Futuresight, Mirror Coat, Outrage, Crunch, and Foul Play are also included in the latest set of the latest Charge Moves.

Evolution Items

The Silph Road noted that in the main series Pokemon games, certain species only evolve when visible to certain items. The following Evolution Items do not have graphic assets in "Pokemon Go" yet but do appear overtly by name in the code as SUN STONE, KINGS ROCK, METAL COAT, DRAGON SCALE and UPGRADE.

Even more, "Pokemon Go's" latest APK revealed new avatar customization options have been added which include Belt, Glasses, and Necklace. Previous APK versions introduced code for SHINY Pokemon and Pokemon genders. The latest APK brings, even more, code to back these variants. A new system in the "Pokemon Go" appears to have been included for debugging purposes. Notably, the options for the debugger include Species, Gender, Costume, Form and Shiny.
