Nokia 6 Sold Out After One Minute; New Stock Might Arrive This Week
Regin OlimberioJan. 25 might be the next scheduled flash sale of Nokia 6 after the initial units released on Thursday, Jan. 19 were sold-out in just a minute. The current pace for the Nokia 6 sale might not mean anything to North American market because the Finnish company decided to sell exclusively in China.
Nokia 6 is exclusively being sold through retailer JD.com who found themselves in euphoria after 1 million pre-orders flocked the website in Jan. 16. True to the initial rush, those 1 million Nokia 6 sold out in just 1 minute.
Again, Nokia 6 might be the hottest selling smartphone in China right now and there is no definite date yet about the arrival of fresh stock. The Jan. 25 estimate is according to claims made by NokiaPowerUser.
There is no assurance also if those who drool for Nokia 6 will get their hand on the much coveted smartphone when stocks get replenished. What would-be buyers can do for the meantime is to register at JD.com or on the Chinese Nokia website to receive an email notification once new Nokia 6 stocks arrive.
Here is the good news: there are thoughts that Nokia 6 might finally decide to make an international rollout. The success that this smartphone enjoyed in China is too tempting an opportunity to let pass. However, there is a question about Nokia's capability to manufacture en masse considering that the company did not license elsewhere.
There are indications as well that Nokia 6 is going to unleash a different variant for the international market. A Nokia 6 variant that carries the model number TA-1003 was seen on Bluetooth certification website. The TA-1003 variant is different than the China-based model, so it could ether be an upgrade or units intended for different costumers.
Lastly, there are hopes that after another Nokia 6 China release, an international launch will follow suit. After all, Nokia Mobile said in their Facebook post that there is going to be a major announcement next month.
