‘Pokemon Go’ Guide: How To Identify Pokemon Gender; Will New Moves Make It To The Next Huge Update?

"Pokemon Go" players may not be able to notice it but Niantic has tweaked Pokemon features a little in the previously released update. Reportedly, the game developer has given Raichu and Pikachu a gender! Apart from the implementation of Pokemon gender, it seems that Niantic is also gearing up to add 38 new moves in the highly anticipated "Pokemon Go" huge update.

A report by Daily Star claimed that Reddit users recently discovered that male and female Pikachu and Raichu now exist in the hit mobile game. Though Niantic did not include the update in its recent patch notes, players are convinced that the minor differences in the appearances of the given Pokemon denote their gender. Apparently, the tail of the pocket little monster could determine whether its a male or a female.

Reportedly, a male Raichu's tail is pointed while its female version has a blunted tail. For Pikachu, players may see square-ended tails on male ones while the female ones have heart-shaped tails. However, it seems that the changes were only a mistake and that Niantic already retracted the update.

In other news, the "Pokemon Go" developer is seemingly working on a huge update that will carry 38 moves according to a report by The Silph Road. Following some digging in the codes of the new "Pokemon Go" app, the data miners reportedly discovered the presence of codes and assets of some new moves. This apparently marks the first time that developers will implement new moves to the game apart from Ditto's Transform skill.

The complete list of moves is detailed in the report published by The Silph Road. In the meantime, tell us whether you have Raichu and Pikachu creatures that come with gender or variations in tails.
