JEVSquare Enix has finally unveiled official gorgeous screenshots for two of its upcoming big titles, "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy 7" Remake. Game director Tetsuya Nomura earlier confirmed his presence at Monaco Anime Game International Conference 2 (MAGIC) 2017 on Feb. 18 and has brought in some goodies with him at the event, which have delighted the fans.
Nomura presented a few new teaser images for "Final Fantasy 7" Remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3". The photos have apparently hinted major gameplay spoilers on what avid fans can expect from both games.
Sadly enough, the event concluded without a word on when will be the exact launch dates still. But the latest update from the game developer does indicate that the developer of the two games are making some progress.
Fans can check out the never-before-seen screenshot released for the epic endng title to Sora's adventure in the "Kingdom Hearts" trilogy. "This is the first time we show this screenshot of Kingdom Hearts III," director Tetsuya Nomura said, courtesy of Gameblog.fr.
He added that it is taking place in Thebes and the game's protagonist characters will be battling a all new kind of the Heartless. Nomura also discussed about The Keyblade, which takes forms of various things. In the screenshot, it can be seen as a shielf but he said that it can also become a chariot. According to Nomura, it is referred to as "Power Form."
On the other hand, the game director also showed the most recent image for FF7 Remake. Nomura shared how he intricately worked on the game's combat system, which he said, is going to be uninterrupted. He further revealed that grenades won't cause damage to allies.
Furthermore, the second screenshot for "Final Fantasy 7" Remake has shown fans a glimpse at the first boss in the game, which is a Scorpion and the setting can be destroyed to some extent. He added that he wished to show a video but it was not approved by Square Enix. He promised, however, to dish more details at another upcoming event.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is slated for release on PS4 and Xbox One on a yet to be announced launch date. "Final Fantasy 7" Remake will be timed exclusive for Sony's PS4, which still has to receive a solid release date.
