According to Xtra Naughty Gaming's video, there are five main endings in "Nier: Automata." These are named after alphabet letters, A to E. Players need to replay the game and exhaust each possible choice to acquire each. Finally, ending C is said to be the "true" ending out of all the "Nier: Automata" endings. It is considered as the ultimate ending because of its exclusive outcome despite of an extreme genre switch in this game's path.
