Microsoft Latest News & Update: Windows 10 PC Preview Build 15060; Fixed Bugs But Brings No New Features

Microsoft has started rolling out yet another Windows 10 Insider Preview to the Fast ring Insiders. This latest build 15060 like other recent builds, includes a number of bug fixes but no new features.

The recent Windows 10 PC Preview Build 15060 fixed Settings icon that appeared the plating in the taskbar.This issue has resulted in another issue now fixed, that if Settings had been pinned to Start, the tile becomes grayed out after the first time it clicked.

In addition, it also fixed an issue resulting in 3rd party IMEs not showing up in Settings after being installed.Another issue in Microsoft Edge quickly typing and deleted characters into a website's search box while using the MS Pinyin IME resulting in the IME becoming stuck and the website showing Not responding is now fixed.

Aside from those, the Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 devices no longer fail when being updated to new builds. That is  if an SD memory card is inserted and you have the latest Surface drivers and firmware installed. In addition, the issue of crashing taskhost.exe is already resolved. Furthermore, it fixed the issue of pressing Tab while quickly typing in UWP app sign in fields, resulting in not being able to type for a few seconds.

The Windows 10 PC Preview build 15060 solved an issue for Insiders where, after a crash, Microsoft Edge might fail to launch again for a few minutes because previous instances were still suspended in the background. In addition, issues when exploring pages using the F12 Developer Tools in Microsoft Edge with cross-origin iframes are now solved.

Known Issues for PC

Aside from , the Windows 10 PC Preview build 15060 has known issues to PC. This includes users unable to download new additional language packs on this build. Manual rebooting if the PC fails to install the build. In addition, the PC appears to hang during reboot.

Furthermore, some Insiders are seeing the error Some updates were canceled. We'll keep trying in case new updates become available in Windows Update. Apart from those, several apps and games may crash due to a misconfiguration of advertising ID that happened in a prior build and new user accounts that Build on 15031 may affects, says Wccftech.

Another issue is that the restart reminder dialog doesn't pop up. Also if the user needs to restart the PC due to pending update there comes a bug. For gaming, certain hardware configurations may cause the broadcast live review window in the Game bar to flash Green while you are Broadcasting. This does not affect the quality of your broadcast and is only visible to the Broadcaster.
