The XPS 13 2-in-1 is Dell's most laptop-esque hybrid. The popular PC maker has rolled out models sporting pull-off screens and ones with displays that swivel around in their casing, but the aforesaid variant resorts to the more traditional 360-degree hinge.

Dell's XPS 13 2-in-1 is an ideal device for gadget freaks looking to get their hands on an ultra-slim laptop. The device is small in size, isn't too bulky and doesn't offer as many features as the smallest MacBook.

Flipping around in its own frame, Dell's last 2-in-1 laptop came bearing an unusual cosmetic appearance. The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, on the other hand, sticks to a more conventional design and bears a striking resemblance to a slim hybridized iteration of the regular XPS 13, according to The Inquirer. The Dell XPS 13 was unveiled in January during CES 2017.

Meanwhile, businesses that have been waiting to get their hands on Dell's new XPS 13 2-in-1 have something to cheer about. Dell has finally answered prayers of its customers in the business sector by beefing up the configurations of its XPS 13 2-in-1 device.

The overhauled XPS 13 2-in-1 boasts an array of security and manageability features that are categorical for a specific market. The aforesaid features comprise access to Dell ProSupport Plus, and option to use vPro-enabled processors to name a few.

Dell offers a couple of configurations based on Intel's Core i5-7Y54 processor that does not support vPro, and two configurations based on new Core i7-7Y75 chip that supports vPro. Consumers who need vPro support will be shelling out $1,350, while the Intel Core i5 configuration bears a starting price of $1,000. Regrettably, customization seems to be quite hemmed in across all four configurations, DigitalTrends reported.

Let's take a gander at the semi-locked list of hardware for the $1,450 configuration:

Screen Size: 13.3"
Screen Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 with Touch
Processor: Intel Core i7-7Y75
Graphics: HD Graphics 615 from Intel
System Memory: 16GB LPDDR3 with optional 32GB
Storage: 256GB PCI Express SSD with optional 512GB

Moreover, the $1,450 configuration packs 46 Watt battery. The dimensions are 0.32-0.54 (H) x 11.98 (W) x 7.81 (D) inches and it weighs in at 2.7 pounds. It runs on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and is up for grabs in Silver color option.
