The Huawei Honor 6X hit the store shelves back in October last year and the device is currently up for grabs in three color options including Gray, Gold, and Silver. Aside from that, a couple of new color alternatives i.e. Pink and Blue have been spotted. The two new color variants are exclusively available in China at the moment; however, it is highly likely that the Pink and Blue versions of Honor 6X could also be heading to India.

Huawei Honor 6X Price 

The Honor 6X arrived in the Indian market in January 2017 in Grey, Silver, and Gold color choices. The Honor 6X comes in a 3GB RAM version, which sells for INR 12,999 (about $200) and a 4GB RAM model which bears a price tag of INR 15,999 (about $245).

Huawei was reportedly on the verge of launching the Pink and Blue color variants during the device's unveiling itself but, this did not come to fruition due to unknown reasons. The pricing is expected to remain unchanged for the new color options of the Honor 6X when it arrives in India.

Huawei Honor 6X Specifications

The selling point of the Huawei Honor 6X is its dual-camera setup on the back. The device comes with 12MP + 2MP dual-lens that enables the camera to capture more light and image details when shooting. It features a wide aperture range (f/0.95 - f/16) that allows users to shoot DSLR-quality images. Moreover, the camera has a super fast auto-focus time of 0.3 seconds thanks to a Sony IMX386 sensor that comes with the smartphone, BGR reported.

The Huawei Honor 6X runs an older Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system with EMUI v4.1 on top. The device sports a 5.5-Inch full-HD IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass protection.

Under the hood, the Honor 6X packs a Kirin 655 octa-core chipset -- 4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz. This is coupled with Mali-T830MP2 GPU, 3GB of RAM + 32GB of expandable storage or, 4GB of RAM + 64GB of expandable storage. The handset packs a robust 3340 mAh battery, TheMobileIndian reported

In terms of connectivity, the Honor 6X offers Compass etc., GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G with VoLTE. At this year's CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Huawei confirmed that Honor 6X is on the verge of receiving the Android Nougat update, which could roll out sometime in the second quarter of 2017. The upcoming update will oust the current EMUI 4.1 in favor of the newfangled EMUI 5.0.
