Nintendo Switch and NES Classic On Limited Sale at Best Buy Today

Nintendo is experiencing quite a lot of success with their two recently released consoles, namely with the Nintendo Switch hybrid console and the retro remake NES Classic Edition. However, the company has been having a hard time keeping up with the immense demand, which is why some fans are still not able to get their hands on either of the gaming systems.

The company has promised to increase its production for both consoles, but several retailers are still not getting enough units to keep up. The majority of the retailers are reporting that the consoles are basically just flying off the shelves as they arrive. As per Gamespot, Toys R Us previously launched a promotion when they recently got new units from Nintendo. As expected, all of their NES Classic Edition and Nintendo Switch consoles were immediately sold out in their different brick and mortar locations.

Now, Best Buy has announced that they will actually be getting new stocks of the Switch and the NES Classic today, March 29. The company made an announcement on Twitter to inform fans that they will be holding a limited sale on their online stores for the NES classic, the Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Cons, and the Switch with Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Cons.

As with the Toys R Us sale, Best Buy's units will likely be sold out in record time as well, which is why the company has advised interested customers to camp out on the website prior to the sale itself. Tom's Hardware is also advising buyers to settle on one console during the sale as attempting to have both consoles in their shopping carts will likely not be fruitful given the immense traffic that will potentially be going through the website.

Nintendo is expecting the demand for the Switch to last until the holidays, but they are reportedly doing all they can to catch up with the demand. For those who are unwilling to wait, there are Switch and NES Classic consoles available in the gray market, but they will obviously be much more expensive.
