If you're one of the lucky handful to have a device that runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, then you can unlock a new feature called Daydream which is hidden.
Daydreams are like little screensaver apps for an Android device. Users have the option to choose from any of the five default Daydream modes available. The Daydream mode can be run when the device is docked, charging, or both.
"Daydream lets your Android device display useful and delightful information when idle or docked. Show off your photo albums, get the latest news from Google Currents, and more," notes the official Android page.
Apart from the five stock Daydreams available, there's a hidden one 'BeanFlinger' which can be that's unlocked if by accessing the Jelly Bean "Easter egg" animation.
To unlock the 'BeanFlinger' Daydream here's the step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Launch the Settings app and then scroll to the bottom. Next, tap About Phone.
Step 2: Scroll down to the Android Version listing and select. Tap the selection till you see a jelly bean appear on the screen.
Step 3: Next, tap and hold the giant jelly bean till your device starts vibrating. You will then see interactive jelly beans floating on the screen. You can fling these beans so go ahead and fling away.
Step 4: After doing this the 'BeanFlinger' Daydream will be unlocked. To look for the Daydream option go to Setting s> Display > Daydream.
Did you try this neat little unlocking trick and get bean-flinging?
