Dead Space 3 - List Of Achievements Revealed

EA’s ‘Dead Space 3’ has been touted as one of the highly anticipated games of 2013, and with the host of gameplay videos and new information making rounds on the web, it can easily made out as to why it is highly expected. Now, per reports, EA and Visceral games have released the game’s list of achievements.

Achievements for the game have been revealed, in order to give fans a peek at what to expect when the game releases in Feb. 2013. With the new co-op mode coming to the popular survival-horror game franchise, it's not really a big surprise that the new achievements listed encourage cooperative gameplay.

It seems like the weapon crafting in the game has also been upgraded, and the achievements reflect the emphasis on it. The game will see players collect weapon parts and circuits during the game, and then using a Weapons Bench, they can craft weapons as per their needs or choices.

The new achievements list is a major new detail after the company revealed the host of bundles the game will offer once it hits the store shelves. The two new bundles are the First Contact Bundle and Witness the Truth Bundle.

First Contact Bundle:

First Contact Suit: This EVA (Extra-Vehicular Activity) suit was built by the SCAF (Sovereign Colonies Armed Forces) for encounters with "foreign entities." The suit sports an ostentatious golden finish to offer protection from long-term space exposure and thick armor for other “unspecified reasons.” The suit was given the nickname "First Contact" by the scientists who made it.
Negotiator Weapon: Although it is technically classified by the SCAF as a "scientific instrument," the gold-plated "Negotiator" is loaded with some violent hardware. The overclocked, top-mounted Tesla Beam is capable of bursting a man-sized organism into several pieces with just a single shot. The Linegun, mounted at the bottom, has been built with the solitary purpose of cleanly tearing apart organic tissue from a distance.

Witness the Truth Bundle:

Witness Suit: These insulated suits have been worn by a SCAF deep dig team assigned to exhume the darkest secrets of Tau Volantis. However, they found something locked deep in the ice that changed them forever. When they finally emerged weeks later, they were covered head to toe in strange graffiti and claimed to be "Witnesses to the Truth."
Evangelizer Weapon: This is a modification of the standard AL-2 used by the Sovereign Colonies Legionaries, and this version sports an AL-2g assault rifle on the top with an Emerson 2100 "Big Boy" tactical shotgun on the bottom. The surviving "Witnesses" of the SCAF deep dig team named it the Evangelizer and decorated them top to bottom with outlandish symbols.

EA has currently confirmed the release date for ‘Dead Space 3.’ The game is set to arrive on Feb. 5, 2013 in North America and Feb. 8 in Europe.
