'Call of Duty: Black Ops 2' could be up for some new content in the form of a DLC titled Revolution. The image leaked on the official forums highlighted four new multiplayer maps, a zombie map, along with a bonus weapon for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC.
Mirage, Downhill, Hydro, and Grind are the four multiplayer maps highlighted on the 'Black Ops 2: Revolution' DLC image. From our close inspection, Mirage appears to be set in China due to the type of buildings in the background, Downhill is all snow and ice, the whole setting appears to be a ski resort of some kind. Hydro appears to be set near a dam, while Grind is set in a skating park.
The zombie map, which for many is the most exciting of all, is called Die Rise. Nothing much could be seen from the image to make an analysis of what to expect. However, if nothing else, players should definitely expect to be shooting zombies in their collective faces.
Finally, the bonus weapon. This is the first time a weapon has featured in a 'Call of Duty' DLC. Usually, DLCs were just a bunch of map packs and nothing more. The weapon in question is called the Peacekeeper Sub Machine Gun; this weapon should make fans happy since many Black Ops 2 players prefer to use Sub Machine guns such as the MP7, mainly for how lightweight they are.
The image didn't show a price or release date. However, an additional image popped up showing a release date of Jan. 29, it also indicated the DLC is aimed at releasing first on the Xbox 360.
Both the images and the forum post were deleted, suggesting that this leak is legitimate.
