GTA: 5's release date has always been a thing of great discussion and rumors, but now it appears gamers may have a solid release date to look forward to if a German retail proves to be correct.

German online retail store Satur, confirmed that 'Grand Theft Auto: 5' will be published on March 15, 2013. The entry on the site is for the Xbox 360 version of the game, while 'GTA:5' for the PS3 is scheduled for Dec. 31, 2013. It is unlikely that publisher Rockstar Games would allow PS3 gamers to wait such a long time to play the game, so either these are just pre-order placeholders, a simple mistake, or the whole thing is incorrect.
Quite a few rumors surfaced on the Internet in 2012, suggesting that 'GTA: 5' is expected to hit store shelves in March. However, given the amount of highly anticipated video games coming out in that month, it is unlikelythat Take-Two (owners of 2k Interactive and Rockstar Games) would want to launch 'GTA: 5' in such a hostile competitive environment. Furthermore, 'BioShock Infinite', another Take-Two game, is schedule for a March release and the company would be crazy to have two of its top titles competing in the same month.
'GTA: 5' is the fifteenth game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. The title will take place in the fictional city of Los Santos, which is in the state of San Andreas. Rockstar claims 'GTA: 5' will be its biggest open world game ever created, and will feature three playable characters.
The first trailer of GTA: 5 was unveiled in November 2011, with a second trailer hitting the internet a year later on November 14, 2012.
