More good news for ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ fans at the start of a brand new year.
Per reports, the previously rumored ‘Revolution’ DLC for the game has received more details, and it seems like the previously touted Jan. 29 release date for the DLC could indeed be real.
The DLC is set to arrive with four brand new maps and one new zombie map called Die Rise. Alongside the new map details, the achievements for the map (again, aren’t confirmed) have also been revealed.
“According to the poster, the DLC, titled Revolution, would come packed with four new multiplayer maps, one new zombie map, and a new weapon,” a MP1ST report states. “While it still has yet to be officially announced by Activision or Treyarch, Call of Duty’s mobile website seems to have mistakenly confirmed the DLC.”
Here is the list Die Rise achievements:
“When you select the map on the globe, it's located in central Europe. It says "Breslau, Germany" (not sure of the exact spelling) when highlighted and is represented by a picture of a skyscraper. When you select it you are given a few options like in Green Run,” a ‘Black Ops 2’ Community member revealed.
“You can either play Die Rise (the whole map) or play in one of the smaller areas: City, Village, Nuclear Plant and Jailhouse. I'll describe a game on Die Rise since it includes all of the areas.”
The four new maps – City, Village, Nuclear Plant and Railroad Station – have also been detailed along with the new Die Rise zombie map.
The Die Rise map will let users start off on a hill in the middle of a field surrounded by fog. Apparently, there is a certain tree on the hill with Quick Revive right in front of it, and there are two pickets around the base of the hill, one with the M14 and the other with the Olympia.
It is said that zombies will be coming out of the fog and attack the player, and if at any time the player wants to step foot into the fog, he will be attacked by Denizens. More details about the Revolution DLC can be found here.
