"The evolution is quite interesting here. By allowing gamers to play the first game immediately after Judgment, players can go through an evolution of the series' multiplayer up till Horde 2.0 and Beast Mode in the third game. The prequel won't feature either of those modes, FYI," Gamingbolt writes.
The news was first revealed by Italian Web site Game Surf, and will be a great opportunity for anyone who has missed out on the start of the series to go back to the roots and witness history as it all chalked out between the Gears and their enemies.
Additionally, it has also been reported that the Microsoft Store has added 'Gears of War: Judgment' to its list of offers after the game was seen missing after the launch of Microsoft's new pre-order promotion for Xbox 360 games.
Now players can pre-order the game from the Microsoft Store for $59.99 and receive a 1600 MS Point ($20) code that can be spent on Xbox LIVE. Pre-ordering the Epic Games and People Can Fly developed title from the store also offers access to the in-game Classic Hammerburst and Alex Brand.
"The 1600 MS Point offer will expire when "Gears of War: Judgement" is released on March 19. Free shipping is offered but tax is applicable in states with a physical Microsoft Store location," Examiner.com states. "On top of Gears of War: Judgement, the pre-order offer includes several other hot upcoming Xbox 360 titles including Grand Theft Auto V, Dead Space 3, BioShock Infinite and more."
Here's the full list of games:
'Gears of War: Judgment' is currently set for a March 2013 release exclusively for Xbox 360.
