It's taken a little longer to achieve this time around but iOS 6 has officially been jailbroken and released to the world. You'll be able to jailbreak all iOS devices running iOS 6 including the iPhone 5, which proved to be quite a challenge to jailbreak due to Apple locking it down so much. The process is quick and painless.
I love jailbreaking, have been doing it to my iPhone ever since the first 74 step jailbreak was released for the original iPhone running iPhone OS 1.1.1 in 2007. It allowed more than just the great minds of Apple to play an integral part in the UI, apps, features, etc., it also brought in third-party developers who built new apps, created new and enhanced features, and allowed you to really push your iOS device to the limit.
With the release of evasi0n jailbreak, I'm happy to have Cydia back on my iPhone 5 and iPad mini. The process is very simple to follow and you don't need to be a geek to do it. It takes a few minutes and after a few reboots your iOS 6 device will be jailbroken and you'll have the Cydia app on your device allowing you to install endless apps, utilities and tweaks to make your iOS device even better than it already is.
What are some of your favorite jailbroken apps? Share them in the comments to spread the news.
