More good news for the fans of Kratos all over the world.
Per reports, Sony has announced a brand new white PlayStation 3 model set to arrive bundled with the company’s upcoming third person action-adventure title ‘God of War: Ascension.’

The game, when it finally arrives on March 15, will include the classic white 500GB PlayStation 3 super slim and a ‘God of War: Ascension’ Dual Shock 3 controller, alongside a copy of the special edition of the game.
The European edition of the game will also come with the ‘God of War: Ascension’ special edition box, alongside a copy of ‘God of War 3,’ a steelbook case, soundtrack, PlayStation 3 dynamic theme, PlayStation 3 avatar and access to double multiplayer XP.
“Vengeance is born in the fires of betrayal in this prequel to the best-selling God of War franchise. Six months have passed since Kratos stood over the bodies of his wife and child, his hands stained with their blood - tricked by Ares into murdering the only people he ever loved,” the official page states. “Swearing to avenge them, Kratos broke the blood oath that bound him to Ares, but oaths to Olympus are not so easily broken... Sentenced to an eternity chained within a prison for the living damned, Kratos battles insanity at the hands of the Furies. He will be tested as he seeks freedom, redemption for his sins, and the clarity to avenge his family.”
The game is set be an unforeseen and enthralling journey that tells the dark and more human past of Kratos before he became the "Ghost of Sparta." The game will feature “an epic-and brutal over-the-top action, that retains the signature gameplay of this storied franchise in a fully-fledged single-player campaign.”
A lot is also expected from the game’s multiplayer mode. Players this time will have the option to start as an unknown hero who pledges himself to a God – Zeus, Ares, Poseidon, or Hades – and compete to bring glory and honor to one of these Gods. Players will also be able to compete to gain their favor in order to master new abilities, new powerful magic, armor, and other unique weapons as they rise to conquer everyone else and become a legend of Olympus.
