The HTC One in a blue avatar is now available in the UK through mobile retailer Carphone Warehouse, which offers the handset on various carriers.
The blue HTC One made its debut in the U.S. last month, but there was no word on when exactly it would make it to other markets.
The model has now become available in the UK, as Carphone Warehouse has started selling the blue HTC One for free on contracts that start at £ per month. The retailer is offering the HTC One in blue on all of the major carriers in the UK, including EE, O2, Vodafone and Three.
Aside from the shiny new blue coating, the HTC One remains unchanged in terms of hardware and software. That means that it's still the top-notch handset with high-end specifications and stylish metal design that attracted so many consumers.
The HTC One sports a large 4.7-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz under the hood. Adreno 320 graphics are also on board, as well as 2GB of RAM for a smooth performance.
The latest HTC flagship smartphone comes in 32GB or 64GB internal storage configurations and boasts the company's new UltraPixel technology, among other neat specs and features.
HTC has focused on offering a handset that is top-of-the-line both in terms of hardware and design, and it managed to create a high-end smartphone that gives the Samsung Galaxy S4 a run for its money.
The combination of high-end specs and aluminum unibody design put the HTC One among the most-wanted handsets of this year and HTC decided to offer more color choices to appeal to more potential buyers.
The blue HTC One made quite some waves when it first surfaced and now customers in the UK can enjoy the new color option as well. There is no information yet regarding whether the blue version of the handset will be available SIM-free, off-contract as well, but for now interested buyers can get it subsidized on their preferred carrier from Carphone Warehouse. Head here to check out the retailer's offer.
