Google's New Gboard Keyboard Promises Users Fun & Freedom
MJDMore new features were recently unveiled for Google's new keyboard, now called "Gboard." Android users can now experience its impressive performance, thanks to the new update.
The "Gboard" presents many great improvements, one of which brings the strengths of Google to the forefront of the app, writes The Verge. Users can now search and share with the use of the keyboard, as opposed to heading to other applications to fulfill the request. Anything that can be Googled on the website can be done conveniently on the keyboard itself.
Aside from that, it also enables an Emoji search, easing the hunt for a certain Emoji and even GIFs. Simply type a keyword to find the right emoji or GIF to represent your thoughts. This is already compatible with many messaging applications, such as Allo and Hangouts.
The new update also provides smarter and faster typing, which will present a more efficient keyboard. It will concoct better predictions, including autocorrections. thus, giving users a better communication experience. This also applies to the Glide Typing and other languages available on the "Gboard."
Speaking of languages, users can also switch from different languages without the need of manually setting it. To add to that, Google also plans to release 100 more languages into the device to reach a wider market.
In terms of aesthetics, the background of the "Gboard" call also be customized. Users can choose from the presets, or even incorporate their own photos into the keyboard. Those using the new Google keyboard can expect to have more freedom when personalizing the app.
