Verizon's Smartwatch Made Affordable

Jomst C.

The hype of wearable accessories has been steadily going down, but here is a good news for accessory lovers and tech enthusiasts, due to that decline there would be a lot of competitive pricing adjustments and modest deals will come. The cost of technological gear has always been a hindrance or a catch for tech followers, especially for the Moto 360 second generation, but the company behind the gear, Verizon, has dropped the price to $200 inclusive of free shipping, giving it at least a discount of $100, a better find compared to other sources.

Other companies such as LG, Lenovo, and Huawei has released an announcement earlier that the lot has no steady plans for releasing smart watches in the near future, that being said, Moto 360 will be the last smart watch from the collective for some time. The great thing about it is that the Moto 360 second generation is also one of the watches that are capable of handling and operating on Android Wear 2.0 upon its release.

The most notable adjustment and improvement to the operating system (OS) by Google is assumed to help the smartwatch devices to become more of a standalone device.  It will mostly include features such as the capability to get their own applications directly from the smart watches, allow application developers to make widgets (similar to the Apple Watch's complications), and it will also bring watch faces made by third party developers to iOS.

For the rest of the competition in the market, Time 2 by Pebble has been canceled recently, after the Pebble was acquired by Fitbit. Though the fad of smartwatches seems to look over, that does not necessarily mean the end of it, Apple lately has conducted a sales week for the best Apple Watch ever, according to the CEO of the company, Tim Cook. Google also revealed earlier that the company has something in store for smart watches for 2017.
