CES 2017: Honor Announce To Launch An “Epic” New Smartphone

Honor has revealed the it will launch a new 'EPIC' smartphone at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company posted an announcement on Twitter last Dec. 30, 2016, promising a new smartphone.

The smartphone manufacturer has made a series of tweets regarding their new handset. It features lines like, "R U brave enough to expect more?", "A phone has never been so scrumptious" and "Fiercely unlocked."

In the same networking site, Honor also published a photo taken with this new handset. It likely features a dual-camera setup to fit the company's "Double or nothing" slogan in Las Vegas.

DailyTech report says that more details of this new Honor handset is yet to be confirmed, except the dual-camera set-up like their previous model Honor 8. However, some site reports that this device comes in a metal frame with curved edges and double 3D glass at the front and back tapering edges.

Honor claims that this new handset has an amazing charging quality that can be charged 70 percent in 20 minutes and 40 percent within 10 minutes. Like the other upcoming smartphones, it is also expected to come in Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Honor is a sub-brand of the Chinese giant Huawei company. It has released high-ends and amazing smartphones, including the Honor 6X and Honor Magic.

According to UberGizmo, Honor currently sells only two official handsets in the US, the Honor 8 and the Honor 5X. This both phones are sold unlocked and off-contract since they're not available from the country's major mobile carriers.

Yearly, many electronic companies launch their products in this Consumer Electronic Show. In this coming CES 2017 this month, as expected, various kinds of high technology devices, including iPhones, Samsung Galaxy and Honor, will be launched.
