"Prison Break" has been revived so it is coming back on Fox TV for Season 5. The drama is expected to pick up where it left off in the fourth season. However, it turned out that Michael Scofield is alive and apparently, he is in prison.

In the preview of "Prison Break" Season 5, Lincoln was tipped off that his brother Michael is not dead. Ex-prisoner Theodore told him that his brother is in jail and Lincoln later discovered that Michael is in Middle East, in Ogygia prison.

Lincoln immediately set out a plan to get his brother out and bring him back home. Now, the whole story of how Michael is alive and ended up in Middle East will be revealed on show's premiere.

With Michael's unexpected appearance in the show, it only means that Wentworth Miller is not leaving the show. It is clear that he will still be part of fifth installment even if he was ‘killed off' in the previous season.

Now, commenting about the plot of "Prison Break" Season 5, executive producer Paul Scheuring told CNN, "This season was not just going to be a new prison. I wanted to turn the whole prison escapee on its head and it's not really about getting out of the prison as much as it is getting out of the country."

As for the air date of the 9-episode drama, it is set for April 4 premiere. The show will reunite original cast members including Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Rockmond Dunbar, Amaury Nolasco, Paul Adelstein and Robert Knepper.

Meanwhile, Deadline reported that the "Prison Break" trailer has set a new record as the fastest and most viewed trailer. It gathered over 50 million views across the three leading social networking sites. Within just 24 hours after posting, the views already reached 42 million.
