The Xbox Scorpio may just be unveiled at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Microsoft's video game branch has just announced that it will be having its E3 event on June 11 in Los Angeles and told fans to "Brace for big news."

Microsoft Xbox has remained tightlipped about its upcoming video game console. Aside from those that are released during the 2016 E3 and the occasional twitter posts of Xbox's Phil Spencer, no official information about the Project Scorpio has been revealed.

The Xbox Scorpio release date remains to be Holiday 2017 just as what was indicated in the Xbox Scorpio teaser that was featured during the video game company's 2016 E3 event. Microsoft Xbox is yet to make an official announcement for a specific date.

The only sources of information that the video game community has on the Xbox Scorpio are the usual rumor mill and alleged leaked information that have found their way online. However, these sources did not draw a clear picture of what Microsoft Xbox's most powerful game console will actually look like.

However, such will no longer be the case after June 11. Microsoft Xbox has just announced via its official twitter page that it will be having its 2017 E3 Xbox press conference on June 11 at around 2 PM in Los Angeles.

"Brace for big news," these were the words used by the video game company to caption an image of what appears to be the same image of the Xbox Scorpio shared by the company during last year's E3. The twitter post also mentioned that the Xbox E3 press conference will be moved on a Sunday instead of the usual Monday schedule.

Though Microsoft Xbox has not categorically said that the event will feature the Xbox Scorpio the fact that the company used the upcoming console's picture should mean something. The most powerful video game console may just make it to 2017 E3 after all.
