"Cities: Skylines" is a city-builder developed in Unity3D by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive. It was announced for Xbox One a while back but the publisher has been quiet about it. Finally, the game is now announced to hit the Windows 10 store and the Xbox One version is scheduled for spring 2017.

"Cities: Skylines" On Xbox One And Windows 10

Bringing "Cities: Skylines" on Xbox One and Windows 10 is an enormous gain for Microsoft, given the game's wild acceptance on Steam and other PC platforms. "Cities: Skylines" is an award-winning, best-selling management game, with all of its robust city-simulation gameplay and unique charm along for the ride. Paradox Interactive, on the other hand, is a world-class developer and publisher, with hailed titles like "Stellaris," "Pillars of Eternity," "Europa Universalis," and "Tyranny" in its wide library.

The "Cities: Skylines" Xbox One Edition puts players in charge of a growing city -- from the ground-breaking of its first streets to the ever-changing needs of thousands of dwellers. Designing, building, and running the city of one's dreams, from public services to civic policies, are the challenges; growing it from a simple town to an urban hub, shares Windows Central.

"Cities: Skylines'" Main Features

"Cities: Skylines" is greatly praised on PC for its huge feature set and its depth. It has updated controls for use with a gamepad and the Xbox One edition comes bundled with the After Dark expansion, as well. This allows players to plan and design the night-life systems and tourist attractions to the game, reports Gematsu.

Its core features include allowing players build the city of their dreams, simulation of the whole multi-tiered challenges as the mayor, and even directing local traffic, among others. To add to that, being a city hall official, the policies of the districts are part of the player's charge. Residents within the city react fluidly, keeping players on their toes with ever-evolving demands. With "Cities: Skylines," players can build it, manage and enjoy.
